FIXOFLUOR Fluorine varnish
Dental office fluoridation with a high-adhesion fluoride varnish is intended for caries prevention, desensitization of the teeth and the reduction of dental plaque.
COMPOSITION
Sodium Fluoride: 22,600 ppm F-
INDICATIONS
Fixofluor® is for specific use by dentists, it should not be used for patient self-application. Its presentation in varnish for professional use provides greater adherence that prolongs contact with dental enamel. Its formulation acts in:
- Caries prevention.
- Desensitization of the dental necks.
- Reduction of dental plaque.
HOW TO USE
It is necessary to completely remove the bacterial plaque previously in the dental clinic. Then, with the help of a cotton swab, spatula or similar object, extract a small amount of Fixofluor® from the tube and spread it over the entire tooth surface, emphasizing the occlusal, interproximal and gingival areas, forming a thin layer. The patient can close the mouth quickly after its application. The number of applications is established by the dentist, and can be from once a week for a month, to once every 3 months, 6 months or a year, depending on the susceptibility of the patient to suffer dental caries. In the treatment of hypersensitive necks, the dentist establishes the frequency of applications. It is advised 1 or 2 days per week during a month.
WARNINGS
It is not recommended to apply the product with empty stomach, especially in children. Within the 4 hours after its application, the patient should refrain from eating solid food, rinsing and brushing their teeth. Fluoride ion accumulation should be avoided, so on the same day of application of Fixofluor®, other products that contain high concentrations of fluoride ion should not be administered, either by topical or oral application.
Keep out of the reach of children. Do not eat.
